Trent Kelly, Director

Trent has been involved in the Sports Turf industry for almost 15 years and is a qualified turf manager. He has continually developed his expertise in multi-purpose turf management. As a former first class cricketer, Trent has worked with Oval Managers of major stadiums Australia-wide which include Adelaide Oval and the former AAMI stadium. He has considerable experience in the preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches. Recently Trent worked with Les Burdett, Cricket Victoria and the Alice Springs Town Council to deliver Sheffield Shield Cricket at Traeger Park.

Shane Dunstall, Senior Turf Manager

Shane is a competent and qualified member of the horticulture and turf management industry. He has over 20 years experience in this field. He is a former cricketer and has a passion for cricket pitch preparation. Shane’s dedication and attention to detail is evident across all turf management areas and sports field line marking. Recent achievements include preparation for Cricket Australia Futures League Games.

Ryan Sparrow, Turf Manager

Ryan, a past cricket player from the UK, brings an international flavour to the team. He has a well rounded knowledge of general turf management specialising in cricket pitch preparation. This experience spans 20 years in England and Australia. He is passionate and prides himself on delivering excellence at all levels of cricket pitch preparation from club cricket up to Cricket Australia Futures League.

Jake Brown, Turf Manager

With first class cricketing experience for South Australia and as a dual Bradman Medallist, Jake is a high achieving key member of the TK Turf Services staff. He is qualified and has a well rounded knowledge of cricket pitch preparation, tennis court maintenance and golf course management. Jake brings invaluable knowledge to the team.

Harry Nielsen, Junior Turf Manager

Harry is currently completing his turf management qualification and is a contracted Rookie to the Redbacks cricket team. Harry’s experience has been gained from spending the last two years as part of the TK Turf Services team and while also working on sports grounds in the UK. He is enthusiastic and is quickly developing a sound knowledge in a range of sports turf management areas.

Carl Mickan, Turf Manager

Carl is a sports enthusiast and a qualified in horticulture and turf management. He has a golf course background and gained valuable experience at the premier Kooyonga Golf Club. Carl has also spent time in UK as cricketer and groundsman and is currently a valued member of the West Torrens A Grade Cricket Team. Carl rounds out a competent and enthusiastic team of turf management professionals representing TK Turf Services.
